@ 30th June 2009
CHEESEROLLER Shurdington GL51 4XJ
A pleasant enough pub that serves well as a local. Up to four pumps to choose from on occasion but normally three with a slight variation from time to time. Settling in to one of its less appealing phases with the likes of Bass or Greene King in residence now.
Bass / Battledown Tipster / Sharp's Doom Bar
@ 1st May 2010
COAL HOUSE INN Apperley GL19 4DN
Like many pubs along the river, when it's winter there may be only one ale on, but in summer there could be up to three. The selection can be changed around a bit, with many breweries being featured over the year.
A cosy enough hotel with IPA and 6X in residence. Other better Wadworth ales used to feature and still might be offered now but certainly not when we have called. Looking very much like a candidate for our demoted list.
Henry IPA / 6X
@ 19th January 2010

A traditional country pub catering for eaters and drinkers alike. Providing four selections with Sharp's brewery usually getting a look in.
Otter Bitter / Sharp's Doom Bar / Sharp's Mild Spring / Wye Valley's Butty Bach
@ 25th March 2009
CROWN INN Frampton Mansell GL6 8JG
A peaceful olde world country hotel in an idylic location that seems a lot more settled after a few turbulent years. Cuisine seems dominant but the ale choice is very worthy with four pumps lining the bar.

@ 30th March 2010

@ 26th January 2010

DANEWAY INN Sapperton GL7 6LN
One of the old fashioned country gems tucked out of sight but well known through its connection with the Sapperton Tunnel on the Stroudwater Canal. Nothing fancy, just how it was all those years ago. A Wadworth house with up to three of its brews plus a guest
Henry IPA / Summersault / 6X / Young's Waggledance
@ 21st July 2009
DICK WHITTINGTON Gloucester GL1 2PE
Winners of many CAMRA awards but not quite as prolific as of old. Only half the selection these days but still an eye catching half dozen pumps available and the occasional, rather than the expected, unusual offerings.
Bateman's Rosey Nosey / Butcombe's Christmas Steps / Exmoor Antler / Prescott Track Record / Severn Vale's Severn sins
@ 29th December 2009
DRILLMAN'S ARMS Cirencester GL7 2JY
Not a particularly welcoming pub from the outside, but one that is near the top of our 'favourite' list. It's not for the nationally available standard servings we go, but to sample the guests. Always a surprise and always an excellent surprise.
Cottage's Concorde / Sharp's Doom Bar / Three Castles' Saxon Archer / Tring's Bring Me Sunshine
@ 6th April 2010
~ E ~
EDGEMOOR INN Edge GL6 6ND
Located in a prime position overlooking Painswick and the surrounding hills and now with a major extension and refurbishment. Always an excellent pint from a good choice of ales with Wickwar and Uley breweries usually represented coupled with one or two guests.
Stroud's Budding / Uley Old Spot / Wickwar's BOB
@ 23rd February 2010
ELIOT ARMS South Cerney GL7 5UA
A many faceted place with a cosy lounge, then stretching back through nooks and crannies to a huge function area, ending up with a patio overlooking a flast flowing stream. Marston's owned and Marston's ales only unfortunately. Pedigree the mainstay with a Jennings or Banks' offering.
Banks' Bitter / Marston's Pedigree
@ 27th October 2009
ENGLAND'S GLORY Gloucester GL1 3PB
A busy but welcoming 'city' pub. A Wadworth establishment with up to four of their range including seasonals or pseudo guests when available and the occasional 'true' guest.
Henry IPA / Horizon / Old Timer / 6X
@ 2nd January 2010
