TWO MORE DELETIONS
After the closure of the Twelve Bells in Cirencester, we have to delete the Kilcot Inn from our lists. We know it closed many months ago and have heard nothing since so can only await for news with bated breath. Unfortunately we have demoted the Corner Cupboard in Winchcombe at the same time. We tried to visit in the last month but it was closed up and in darkness so whether it was just for the night or not we don't know but it has fallen victim to our 2 year rule on visits. It may seem harsh, but the reason we hadn't visited within the two years is purely that they tended to concentrate on our 'walkout' ales, with our favourites seldom seen any more.

BEST OF THE BUNCH
A special mention for the pubs visited in the last month that have brought different ales to the fore.
- BOAT INN, Ashleworth
Another visit to the Boat and another Church End brew; Wrecktor at 6% was excellent.
- BUTCHERS ARMS, Oakridge Lynch
Finishing off the seasonal casks but Adnam's Yuletide was still a good choice.
- LITTLE THATCH, Quedgeley
A faithful Cotswold Spring Brewery outlet accommodating their Old Sodbury Porter this time round.
